My paintings are inspired by what I see around me, what I love & who I love. My environment, my husband Blake, my cats, my bright green house & the lake we live on. My paintings are usually figurative &, although inspired by real subjects, are somewhat abstracted in their final form. I like to paint dancers, mermaids & female figures. If I had it to do all over again, I would be a dancer! I think the paintings reflect the questions of age, imperfection & the acceptance of change in ourselves & each other.
